Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

QuantVeritas is operated by Terence Agbeyegbe, Professor of Economics at Hunter College, CUNY. The site is at quantveritas.com. For privacy-related inquiries, email contact@quantveritas.com.

2. What we collect

Email addresses you provide. When you submit the notification signup form, we collect the email address you enter. We do not collect your name, browsing history, or any other personal information through the form.

Limited connection metadata via third parties. The site loads CSS and fonts from third-party CDNs (Tailwind, Google Fonts). These services may log connection metadata (IP address, user agent, referrer) under their own privacy policies. We do not access or store that data ourselves.

3. How we use your email

• To send you a notification when a new release report is published.
• To respond if you contact us with a question.

We do not use your email for advertising, profiling, sale to third parties, or any purpose other than the above.

4. Third-party processors

• Formspree (formspree.io) — handles form submissions. Email addresses you submit pass through Formspree before reaching our records. See Formspree's privacy policy.
• Email service provider (future) — when we begin sending newsletters, we will use a standard ESP. The specific provider will be named in this policy at that time.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone other than the processors listed above.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any release email (once newsletters begin) or by emailing us. On unsubscribe, we delete your address from our active list within 30 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you (it is your email address and the date you subscribed).
• Correct your email address.
• Delete your data.
• Object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@quantveritas.com. We respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies and tracking

The QuantVeritas site does not set first-party cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts. The CDN-loaded assets (Tailwind, Google Fonts) do not set tracking cookies as configured.

8. International transfers

QuantVeritas is operated in the United States. If you submit your email from outside the US (including the EU/UK), your data is transferred to and stored on US-based servers (Formspree, and any future ESP). By submitting, you consent to this transfer. We will use providers that offer Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards where applicable.

9. Children

QuantVeritas is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted their email, please contact us and we will delete the record.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service grows (for example, when an ESP is added). The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any change. Material changes will be noted by an entry in the email footer or a banner on this page for at least 30 days.
